Dr. Li is a certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a Licensed Acupuncturist certified by the Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners. She achieved her Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine (DACM) from the American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Originally from China, Dr. Li received her B.S. from Tsinghua University in Beijing. She came to the USA in 2014 and by completing her studies and training here, she received her acupuncture license at the beginning of 2019.
Dr. Li has followed several very experienced traditional Chinese medicine doctors and learned the effective treatment protocols of traditional Chinese medicine. She is very proud of using her skills to the very best to help her patients maximize their benefits from this natural and ancient art. She has deep understanding of the core knowledge and is able to find out the solution to the illness. Her goal is to help her patients truly restore their health and achieve their best wellness. As a very compassionate healer, Dr. Li is very gentle in needling and is specialized on stress and anxiety management, pain management, allergy, infertility, weight management, insomnia, digestion issues, skin issues, diabetes, cancer support and many other conditions. She has been using both acupuncture and herb prescriptions to help her patients ease illness and improve their health.
A Diplomate of Oriental Medicine is a practitioner who is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM®) and has met the certification requirements for both acupuncture and Chinese herbology.
NCCAOM certification indicates to employers, patients, and peers that one has met national standards for the safe and competent practice of acupuncture and Chinese herbology as defined by the acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM) profession.
